Is it an android device?
If so then yes, if not then it may still be possible but likely to be problematic.
A new firestick is less than £40, probably be quicker and easier to just get one and use that for iptv

Depends what app source you have if any in App Store: problem with tv apps your limited for media player(s) as certain source may require alternative media plyr to perform better for viewing purposes.. not sure if this is codec related.. I’m sure the masters here will explain

Others have mentioned firesticks. It's best to have a dedicated device.

Otherwise it cause other issues. E.g your your provider may get a temporary block not sure how well a vpn will run.

Unless setting up with a modem then all your network could be slowed down.

If it's a fire TV just follow instructions for a firestick it's exactly the same.
