Just ordered me an Amiko Alien 2 Triple tuner.

Gonna have me a play next week :)
Hopefully come with lots of software on it.

Yeah, I'm on the verge of buying one too...only thing that's holding me off is the HD situation, but I don't think that's worth keeping Sky for £88 a month :/

The SD on my Sony TV is excellent anyway.
I would much rather have everything even though SD. Still get the local 5 chan's in HD and probably more to follow?

Chainsaw let us know how you go on with your new Alien 2 the spec on these boxes looks really good and at the right price. I think they auto channel list too.

Been out of the sat game for years so breaking myself back in with one of these boxes. I used to play with Dreambox DM7000s many years ago with D2mac, Season, Phoenix, F84 PIC programming so hopefully pick it all up again. :)
