Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem. I bought an LG HD TV a while back on which you could record programs by way of a hard drive. Then I bought another more modern LG HD tv and sold the first one all was well until I went to watch the programs I had already recorded on the first TV. They all showed up alright on the new TV but a notice came up stating that they could only be accessed on the first LG TV? I contacted LG and they said that due to copyright restrictions the programs could not be played on the newer TV.
Now for the appeal does anyone know of a way to get these files to work on the tv in question or at least a way to transfer them onto my PC? I can see then in Linux but can't do a thing with them? Appreciate any suggestions.
