Loading icon appears top left - unable to control

Will try explain as best I can.



came home today to find the loading icon on the top left of the screen. I was unable to make any input via the remote control to change channel, menu , setup etc.


I hard reset the box, and all was ok when it booted up.

about half an hour later, loading icon appeared. Couldn't control.

Reset again, same as above. Ok to start then crash.

whatever channel it crashes on continues to play.

anyone have any ideas?
 
Are you getting a crash log on screen??
Sounds like something is corrupt
Make sure you have a copy of your line before any reflash
 
Hopefully the box is not on the way out, only 2 weeks old haha

nothing shows up on screen, I'm using the new sky skin from chabs so at the top left I get a rotating circle. When it appears you can't do anything except watch the channel it is stuck on.

it was the first time setting up one of these and I did it from scratch, so maybe worth while reflashing.

are there any images out there all setup and working flawless that you could recommend to save me setting up from scratch again?
 
What HDD are you using? Sounds like a crappy USB to me. Might be wrong! Lol
