First time post, hopefully some one can help me out. I have been using XBMC on my PC with no problems, so I decided to buy a M8 for my living room. Bought one off Ebay and it came plugged into my router via ethernet. As soon as I plug it in the connection light starts flashing amber instead of green on my router and my internet around the house dies. I disconnect the M8 and after about 5 mins or sooner everything is back in business. I have tried wireless connections and turning off everything else in the house to see if that was a problem. I have reset box to factory still no joy. So contacted seller he assures me it was working fine.
I am with sky bb and have done a speed check saying I have 8.8mb connection speed, I know this is not great but should be good enough.
He has told me to send it back but I thought I could ask and see if anyone can give me any pointers before I send it back.
