mag256 box wifi advice

I have just bought a mag256 box and is due to arrive tomorrow, just a quick one. Does it have wifi built in and if not I have a tenda usb wifi adapter, will that work on the mag 256 box?

Hi mate you will need a usb wifi dongle unless you have bought the 256w1 or 256w2

Can soMeone tell me what should be latest software update on the magbox 256?

If possible use a direct wired connection as in lan cable.

Disconnect power lead then let box boot up press set up on the remote then cursor to settings then to software update if box is not set to automatically update press red to manual update.
You may have to do this a few times if box has never been updated.
Think version is 222r4 but can't remember has I'm away and my box is at home.
