Hi I have a Marantz pm 6010 ose amp does anyone know the best way to clean and oil the selector knob it’s started to play up ?, thanks

Are you meaning internally on the selector swich assembly, if so servisol is pretty good, do not use wd40, as it can be corrosive on delicate electronics.

I bought some of this from Halfords, I can't remember what for now but it sorted it out.

Now I have thought about it it was for my MAF sensor on my car as it said it was running lean. Introduced it some electrical spray and it solved the problem. It didn't dissolve the little thin wire so think it is fairly kind. That is fairly kind and not fairy kind.

we use something the same for bad connections with rear lamps on cars,i use carb spray on bad maf sensors lol

I’ll give it a try but I’ve read after cleaning it needs it needs lubricating ?

contact cleaner,
go to a local electrical wholesaler and ask for that,
or, some guitar shops sell it as pot cleaner

you can get white grease in a spray can yes

aslong as its just for a plastic gear on a switch and not electrics it will be ok, if its for electrics then its not the best idea

Vaseline as good a lube as anything. Cheap as chips

It’s a very nice amp I might just put in a shop to be re-capped and cleaned they should lubricate it after the jobs done ?
