MEDIC!!! .. Box down

After a lightning storm last night my mates h2s went down ... It is plugged into the same block as his PS4, TV and router all of which are powering up but there is nothing happening on the box, no lights .. diddly. Could his box have been fried or would the PSU blow first?

The PSU has a light on it, is that on?
Has he tried changing the fuse in the plug?

Nope ..no light on the PSU .. sounding cheaper already .. couldn't remember if the PSU had a light on it and didn't ask him when he told me the box was down if one was showing. Will get him to check the fuse.

The fuse seems to be OK .. Anyone in the Southampton area got a spare PSU??<br>

after a power surge that damaged your equipment you still want to repair it,my advice is to go to repair shop and get it checked properly.

why not invest in some home protection=power SPYKE-coaxial and sat cables-lan as worst that can happen is a you start an indoor fire:fartlight:

My mate has now bought a surge protector .. stable door, horse bolted scenario! :-)

ask your mate is it only the power feed protection he has or backdoor still open?

Just the power feed surge protection .. no coax protection
