mg Cam not worki8ng

Hi

I have a Zgemma H2 which is working fine with Open ATV 5.3 and a mgcam softcam.

I have just bought a Zgemma H5.2TC this has Open ATV 6, i tried to install the same mgcam softcam that was working on the H2 (softcam-feed-mipsel_1.0_all.ipk) box onto this H5.2TC but the cam does not start.

Can anyone tell me if this box and this version of Open ATV requires a different cam ?

I am using this box on a VM cable connection.

openatv 6 is outdated and you'll get audio decsription on the channels, flash the box with a newer build, openatv 6.1, it takes 20 mins and you'll have new softcams and won't have to put up with AD and all the other niggles

Hi thanks. i have flashed open atv 6.1 and i then flashed the softcam feed universal 2.0 ipx i can see the softcam panel and the mgcamd_1.38r1 try to start it but nothing happens, the cam is not starting. is 1.38r1 the correct one for a VM cable connection? thanks

Does your box need mg_cfg file?

if you've added the softcam feed and installed the softcams, mgcamd1.38 should open the line, are you sure it's still live?
have you scanned for channels in autobouquetsmaker and got channels 1 - 5 showing?
have you set the netid for your area?
have you put the CWS line in newcamd.list in usr/keys folder?
