middle to high end box

hi guys after dipping my toe in the openbox scene ive got a v8s at the momment in the bedroom ,was wondering if you can recommend a box shall we say a little more middle to high end for the living room, something close if not better than my skyplus box with a 7 day epg, built in hdd, record two programs and maybe watch one ive already recorded, and something that will play various formats avi/mkv/mp4 etc,built in wifi but not essential,,digital/optical audio output to connect to my onkyo av receiver,something faster more responsive ,will be looking to upgrade the tv soon to 4k , but ive got a lg 3d smart at moment, anything out there or close,thanks drive
