Movie Organisor plugin - organise your series recordings into folders

Can you post your crash log here? if you open 'file explorer' (windows 10) and then click on network link on left, browse to Zgemmah52tc -> root/home/root/logs and you should find some logs, the latest one should be from the last crash.
 
Crash log will post in two parts.

Ah, think I;ve found the issue, can you restart your box and open movieorganisor please and tell me if it's still crashing. I made some changes to my sites and forgot to allow boxes to access the version file, it should now be fixed.

A few times my h2s keeps on crashing every hour. I'm pretty sure it's due to the movie organiser because it's set to to every hour update. Just changed it to every 6 hours and I think the path needed changing so will see how it goes.
 
It appears there was an issue with IPTV recordings and the Movie Organisor plugin, if a tv program is being recorded (sat or cable) and there is a power outage mid recording the recording carries on after reboot and the 2nd part of the recording had a number added to the end of the filename, ie 02. If movie organisor picks this up it then tries copying the Meta file from the first part to the 2nd so both parts of the recording had its own meta file (program info).

It appears that IPTV recordings are saved with the time at the end of the file name, the plugin detected this and tried creating another meta file from the original, the problem being that it appears meta files are not included with the IPTV recordings so the plugin crashed when trying to open the non existent meta file.

I have updated the plugin so now if there is no meta file it skips that part of the process which should stop boxes from crashing on a regular bases.

If you have removed the plugin and want to reinstall then please use the instructions in the first post of this thread, if you still have the plugin installed then open the plugin and the blue button should be enabled so you can update it.

If you do not use IPTV then this issue will not effect you and an update isn't necessary. As I don't use IPTV I have only been able to carry out basic tests so please do let me know if you still have an issue with the plugin.

Hi movie Organiser has been working great on my zgemma h2s running wooshbuild for 12 months but has now stopped working. uninstalled and reinstalled plugin but still not working. On reinstalling I noticed it had kept my original settings ( every 3 hours etc) some files must have remained behind after the uninstall do you know which files and where I should be looking to manually delete? when working a must have great program
 
Look in /etc/enigma2/settings with notepad++.
A lot of plugin settings are stored in there. Just delete anything relating to Movie Organisor and save.
 
also make sure the folder /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/MovieOrganisor is deleted.
 
OK thanksfor your help Its sorted I think ,followed your help also set up a new record folder and transferred files over
 
Hi Grog,
I used your Movie Organiser on my H2S box and loved it, I'm now trying to install it on my H52TC and it won't install, I've tried it via the ftp and usb method but none of them work, when I get to the press install it takes 2 seconds ( now I know that's not right it should take a bit longer ) and then says it's installed but it isn't, I am running ATV 6.1, any ideas please.

Are you actually ticking the box next to the ipk name before clicking install. If no box it ticked it goes through process of installing a plugin without actually installing anything
