Moving cable box location

Sorry if this comes across as a daft question but I'm just new to this and looking to learn a few things.

I'm planning on getting an Edision OS Mini 1x DVB-C/T/T2 box and assume I'll need an 'n' line, is this correct? Still to read up on the difference between c and n lines...
I'm also planning on setting it up at my place to ensure it's working then passing it over to my parents when their VM cancellation goes through, my question here is - Will there be any issue with moving the box from my place, once it's set up & configured, to theirs?

Nope, it will work fine at 1 location at a time, never at 2 locations at the same time, i believe the suppliers cut you off.
 
you will be fine as it will be disconnected from your ip and then reconnected to your parents ip...you only get trouble if you have the same line on 2 different boxes at 2 different locations
