Moving to z gemma from v8s

hi guys

im looking at buying a z gemma box as it seems a lot better then the v8s due to the vix skin, better epg, and the fact it self auto updates each day. From my limited understanding I believe that the h.2s model is the latest and best model produced is this correct?

Also is loading a cc cam line onto the box only possible via ftp? Can usb not be used as it seems easier that way.

I see a lot of a different technologies such as new cam, cc cam, n line, and mgcamd. What should I be looking to use for best results?

I know people mention Mgcamd is but I thought it was poor how it didnt give you status update in the v8s, you wouldnt be sure if all your lines were working and added correctly.

I'm looking at buying off an auciton site a sgemma h.2s model pre loaded with vix sky blue skin and im not sure if i should have it with the 12 month gift or not. So if someone can help educate me on the above questions it would be hugely appreciated

I wouldn't buy off eBay. Your better off buying direct from the forum sponsor Zgemma Star Satellite Receiver's - Official Store then sourcing a line by posting in the line request thread in the general satellite section. most people who buy a plug n play box from eBay find the line won't last longer than a month or two. Once you get the box you can either use kiddac's bare bones guide that can be found in the stickies in the 2s forum or try using wooshbuild that is already to use and also let's you add your can file by USB. Wooshbuild can be found in the stickies at the top of this forum and has a very comprehensive install guide to get you up and running in no time at all
