N line with BM 7000S?

Hi All,

I have been sent an N Line as a test, are these compatible with the BM 7000s?

If so, how do I use it? (I have only seen instructions for C line)

yes. just change your protocol from cccam to newcamd in the 9991 menu along with the other info ie: nline...... id..........password......... port....... ans so on.

Thanks mate - will see what I can do when the box arrives.

Will I be able to configure everything in a house without a sly dish and then take it to a house where it will be installed? (end user already has a UK sky set up)

yes but you wont get any channels showing without a dish lol.but all the config can be done without a dish just hook it up to your tv.

Oh also, in the tutorial, does it assume that you already have modded firmware on the stb?

yes.but chances are when you get the blade it wont have the modded firmware on it,just download it on a usb stick and put it into the blade.

Is installing a dish and pointing it in the correct direction difficult? In a technical sense..
