Need a VPN for IPTV but router locked

It appears that my ISP is blocking iptv when there's football on, others have same problem. But I can't put vpn on my crappy Technicolour router as it's locked down I remember reading something about hooking up another router and putting vpn on it but I'm not great with these things Can someone here advise me on the best, most cost effective way to get a VPN in my set up? Many thanks

Probably easier to find a new supplier
Don't think it's suppliers fault, he's been brilliant. My ISP is blocking streams when football is on. He actually recommended that liberty shield router.... But it's £49.99 per year ... Was hoping to get something cheaper if possible .

I've 2 subs one on lg smart tv and another on Zgemma h2s ... Both not working since just before the Liverpool game started.

Are you using an Enigma 2 box ?

If so,
Why don't you flash with wooshbuild, subscribe to digibit ( £2.50 ) per month, then enter your VPN details in the " Easy VPN Adder " app

IPVanish or NordVPN are other options

Yes, Zgemma h2s

Just thought I read something about "bridging" whereby I could get a second hand router which could link /Bridge into my own locked down router. Then use nord vpn or express vpn on the second hand router.... Then I could use the Zgemma and it would also work on LG tv.

Yes, put the ISP router in modem mode and connect the 2nd router like you say, then add VPN. Don't know who your ISP is, but Sky Q router for example it can't be done. Not sure about any other providers.

I've just recently bought one of these
https://store.gl-inet.com/collectio...r300m-mini-smart-router?variant=3097496944667
£35 for the router , and £12 for 500months of RA4W VPN from a pointer by another member on here, sorry I cant remember who,
I dont use it for streaming, so cant comment if it will be fast enough for that or not, I [ think ] I read somewhere that its throughput caps out at about 13M,
but does what I need it to , in a very amicable manner for a cheap price.

Honestly, haven't a clue why I said that!! I'm not tech minded so this is all confusing! Can I put a VPN on my Zgemma h2s?
