need help asap with skybox v8

hi guys need help asap just bought a skybox v8 set it up upgraded the channel list through usb im getting no signal on all channels including free to air the cause is not my dish as i have a skybox f4 and that works perfect when i do a blind scan on the skybox v8 for channels no channels are displaying just blank when scanning need help please
 
Make sure you have the cable in the lnb input and not the loop input/output, then go to antenna setup, make sure you have it configured correctly. turn off diseqc and make sure it is set to 28.2
 
and the cable defo works with your other box and the cable is in the correct input? set your lnb to auto and maybe worth flashing latest firmware to see if it helps go here and download the one at the top

LNB should be set to Universal (9750-10600), but that shouldn't stop you from receiving all channels.

Have you checked that LNB power is set to ON?
