Need help with Openbox v8s channels keep going scrambled. Please help!

I've recently bought an open-box v8's off a guy, everything was working fine until today there is a years Sub on it, the only thing I don't get is why my channels keep going scrambled. I have tried everything such as deleting the list that was on the box & searching for a new one. I even phoned the guy and asked what is going on & his words where my server is fine it must be my own connect i'm on virgin media By the way. Is there anyway off fixing it? I need someone who's server is reliable & never has this kind of issue, thanks.

Try a test line from somebody else.
There have been issues with VM lines recently but if it's on and off it's more likely a poor line.
I can test the line if you want to pm me the details ?

I think it is a poor line and your right it keeps going on and off, if you could test it for me that would be great.
