need netids for upc ireland

Thanks for your effort and patience never did this before , xml and all that flies over my head ,
first time having to this but I will give it a go , just one thing more will I lose my settings or does it just up date , cheers mate ...........

No you shouldn't lose your settings all your doing there is adding a provider file so you should get an extra option if that doesn't work it sounds like you'll have to reflash using an updated image reflashing will mean you will loose your settings

Always make sure you have taken a backup of your line details details first newcamd.list file in usr/keys
CCcam.cfg in et

No problem happy to help. Once you start getting used to doing it you'll never stop I probably spend 90% of my time faffing with the box and 10% watching tv lol

Dsayers worked a treat bud , have channel list up and I know there's nothing on them just tried a few to see could I get a test card , so I know it ok , will try a test line , can't thank you and cactikid enough for all the effort , ye guys don't realise with the steps and links you supply how you can make it a lot less painful for the first timers , and I am a bit more confident now on trying different things , I read a lot in the forum about updates ,flashing , builds and so on and always wanted to try different things but a little scared I would brick the box ,
