new android box advice needed

I'm after getting a new android box,but as there's that many ,I need some advice on which are the best ones to be looking at,as I don't want to buy a rubbish one ,so looking for a
newish model xbmc etc

its down to your budget to be honest.you can get cheap which do a job but if you go for something like an HTPC type running xbmc/kodi then you can pay a few hundred quid.

Its for my dad so he has more channels to watch other than the freeview he's got,shobox etc
