" New Device Connected" pop up message with Fire Stick?

I keep getting a pop up message on my TV when using a Fire Stick. Message reads new device connected. Any idea what may be causing this?

That looks like it relates to a western digital harddrive if you have one connected

thats interesting as i was not sure tv or stick could use a hdd.

I wondered if it was hdd connected to router so on same network as firestick

i have a nas drive and never seen any message,but on a saorview box with external hdd i get a message on screen found recording device.
my panny has a usb slot and the odd time i press wrong button it asks what file to use like above .
inputted those numbers on google says its a hdd.
