New to skybox f3 advice please

Firstly I would like to say sorry if break any forums rules.

i should be getting the f3 box with latest firmware tomorrow. I bought from an auction site and the seller has very good feedback. So I just wanted to know since its going to come loaded with latest firmware do I just need connect it all up and then get "gift" from a reputable source and that's it? Or is there more to it?

No its not hard first time might take u a while as for gift get a test line first to make sure your happy with it and thats about it and theres plenty of help on here so just ask.
