Satellite No sound with hdmi lead

Hi guys, need some help please.

Brand new zgemma h.2h box, setup for sat only.
All channels working but no audio on any channel through hdmi lead.

I get sound output from the rca sockets on the rear through my amp, but no sound to tv and bose sound system using hdmi.

I have swapped hdmi leads, no change.
Checked audio settings in menu, digital downstream set to yes, tried setting to no, still the same.

Tried another sat box on same hdmi lead, it works.

Box is running openatv 5.1

Any help appreciated, thanks.
 
does your box have a spdif out and does your av receiver have spdif in then hook up cable.

sorry in doze mode here,only other option is to reflash box with another image and if same contact supplier re faulty port and never try plugging in cables while units are powered on.

Reflashed box as advised, but still the same, contacted zgemma and have been asked to send the box back for a replacement. Cheers..
