Octagon SF4008 newbie help and server needed

Hi
Pick up my my firsst box yesterday and trying to get things up and running. The box has 2x cable tuners and a single satellite.
I've also flashed it with the SF4008 Willo build and plugged in the cable and satellite feeds. I have popped the VM card in the front of the box, not sure if this is right? My current package with vm is the most basic and pretty much the same with sky.
I've managed to initialise the internal hdd and also download the epg.

If I'm honest I'm now lost. I seem to have VM channels here and there and I have no idea how to access the sky feed although if I do a scan there only seems to be a handful of sky channels.

Can anyone advise what I should do next? Should I obtain a server feed next or is there more setup to do first?
Sorry for the newbie questions but any help appreciated.

Have you done the AutoBouquetMaker scan (under service searching)? you need to set that up, that'll put your channels into categories for you for both sky and virgin - or there's a way to get your virgin HD channels into your sky bouquets so you just have one lot. Then you'll need servers for sky and cable.
