Official CI+ Viewing Card & CAM in E2 Boxes?

Do E2 boxes/images support official viewing cards in official CAM modules?

Looking at a couple foreign sat providers - Tring TV, Max TV - and would rather they worked in my E2 box than have to put them into the CI slots in the TV.

Never used a cam and looking at that it looks like conax.

Yeah, Tring and Max both provide the appropriate CAM but I've read conflicting reports about them being supported in E2 boxes. Some saying yes, others saying only in older images.
