OPENBOX V8S all of a sudden its not showing any information on channels; have know done it through usb stick, but seen others v8s that don't use a usb stick can this be done direct to the box

Only had Openbox V8S for about a month and thought I was getting over the poor manual...But?!?
Download and unzipped willyp's (Tested & Working) zip file. Upgraded the ABS and it seemed to load fine, however after finishing loading the ABS file Openox automatically rebooted and nothing had changed.
I believe a/the problem is that there is No Date on the 7 days forecast screen, therefore how can it work?
Any help while I try to work the problem would be V welcome
PS have done quick forum check for solution, no joy o_O
