Openbox v8s iptv +putty

Hi there, was looking in iptv for openbox v8s , done a little reading tried afew free 1's online m3u files, want a decent subscription asked for test lines got 1 reply that went over my head abit , blah blah download putty ....yadi yadi, anyhoo give it a go but nothing happened when i enter ip address hit telnet connection type then open, when i typed root...nothing! Any help appreciated.

As far as I'm aware the V8S is a 'closed system' so you can't use puTTy, telnet, zoc, FileZilla, etc. That's for Enigma 2 boxes!
