As Willo said, get hold of another PSU, look at the Volts and Amps on the current psu and see if you can find another to test with.

Be warned though, get it wrong and your box will show you some magic smoke. Magic smoke is game over. If I remember rightly, a zgemma psu will work on an os mini even if just to test. But check volts and amps first.

Higher amps on a different psu can be higher than the original one - this just means the psu can provide more power. To lower amps and the box may not start.
Volts is the one which can make your box go pop. If the original says 12volts, Find a psu of 12 volts.
