oscam needs restarting every time i change a channel

I have installed oscam on openatv and have it working ...oscam.user, oscam.conf and oscam.server have been placed in the usr/keys folder but every time i change a channel i have to restart oscam... anyone know what the problem could be.
 
Have you not got an oscam folder within the /usr/keys folder?

Have you got the oscam.dvbapi and oscam.srvid files as well ?
 
I am am not even having success with restarting the cam. Can you give an example of what needs to be in the oscam.dvbapi and oscam.srvid if that will resolve the problem.
 
UPDATE: actually on most of my boxes, restarting the cam does actually bring the channel in. However, my Zgemma H7 is refusing to play.
 
what box/firmware ? I noticed recently that on atv 6.1 there is open_atv and open_atv_arm the latter I assume for arm boxes
 
are you using oscam_atv or oscam_atv_emu ? both should be installed. I tend to use the emu one.
