Paid channels randomly going off

I've had this problem ever since I did a software update. One minute box is working fine the next paid channels (VM and Sky) suddenly freeze. Both are different providers. I have to restart the box then they work again. Currently using N lines in CCcam. Was using MGCAMD but had problems with EPG for some reason.

The softcam will have no effect with your epg.
Could be issues with your setup or a unstable server.

Try oscam there's lots of info in here http://www.techkings.org/general-cable-tv/95494-oscam-atv.html I'm not sure why you would be having epg issues with mgcamd

sounds like a broadband issue.

When they freeze, try logging into your STB via FTP to see if it's a local network issue. Maybe there is an issue between the STB and your router.
