iv loaded picons on to a fast /32 usb stick all on no problem but its slowed the zapping of channels on my vuduo2 when I take the usb stick out its back to normal could boday help me with this please

Yes this will happen having the Picons on a usb.
Save Picons to the internal flash for the vu+. Plenty of room for them.

fttp//usr/share/engi2/ do I have to make a folder first then fpt the folder over

Yes. Put the folder in the main root menu.
