Picture Breakup

Hi,

I've got a Edision OS Mini and its been rock solid for the past two months.

Yesterday nearly all channels were either breaking up or not showing at all. I've noticed the SNR has dropped on most channels from 90+ to 80+ and on some channels 70+. What would cause this?

I still have the basic TV package and my tivo has no picture problems. To rule out the splitter I tried a direct connection but the Edision still had the low SNR and picture/sound breakup.

Towards the end of the night some channels such as BBC and ITV started to get 99%SNR but the remaining were still poor.

I checked vm status and it said problems with anytime tv.

Any ideas?
 
If all your connections are tight I would give it a couple of days and see if
it goes away.

Another option is to buy better patch leads for your splitter.

I used to buy cheap splitter kits and sometimes the end of the leads just fall apart

I use something like this now.
