Plex - Nvidia Shield

Does anyone use Plex app on Nvidia Shield? I keep losing sound when watching a film and a message saying my connection to the server is too slow, plus it's really quiet sound. If I access Plex on my Shield but via SPMC, I get none of these problems. Any ideas?

I'm connected to a 3rd party server, it's not my own content.

It must be an issue with the Plex app somewhere, as any Plex content via SPMC is perfect.

Does anyone use PleXBMC on Kodi either? I need help setting it up, I have followed all the guides online and it's just not working.
