Satellite Poor Remote control reception.

Hi I have now got my H7S all setup thanks to this forum. My only issue I have now is the remote control.
I sit about 15 feet from the H7s and at that distance the remote doesn't work I have to get closer even then if the remote isn't pointed directly at the H7s it doesn't work.
There is a very small window that the remote works in. I have put 2 lots of new batteries in the remote to rule out batteries. I have also got a Harmony remote too and after setting that up. It is the same so this rules out the remote.

Can you tell me is this normal for this unit or have I got a faulty one?

When I took mine to bits, the IR receiver was offset. I think @siilver also has some experience of this.

I've got them on all my boxes, they allow you to have the box tucked away out of sight.

Yea the module is pointing to the side for some reason

Very easy to pull apart and push it so it sits flatter and points to the front

Could you post link to your thread please. I have searched for it and can not find it. I have opened up my box. `The ir was not fully pointing forward but in all honesty it hasn't made much difference in the remote working any better.
