poor signal on sky sports 1

can anyone help?

My brother has a H2.h, i set it up for him all worked fine for a week or so, he is now saying that sky sports 1 is unwatchable poor signal strength. all other channels are fine and he has previous to this problem had no issue with sky sports 1.

i have asked him to restart the line, check all the connections etc. everything seems fine.

the only thing i am unsure about is his area ID and which provide to scan in the tuner configuration, he lives on the wirral of anyone knows which ID works there? although it previously worked.

Seems strange as it worked for a week or so and now just that channel that is poor.

There's 2 for the Wirral > 40148 and 40160 ... does he not have a local friend or neighbour with a genuine VM TiVo box that they could get it from.

i have tried them codes but still no picture using vermin (ex cw) is that right?

i have asked him to ask about who has VM box but he has had no luck yet.

just don't understand how it worked and now not

Try scanning with ABM to see if that makes a difference.
