Possible to split cable?

Hi guys,
I have a Sab triple tuner with 2 sky feeds and one vm feed for cable.cable is working fine but sat not so well.
After talking to vm I have got a new package that includes 100+ channels and broadband for €9 cheaper than what I was paying for broadband only go figure eh.
My vm set top box arrived today and works fine but I had to take feed out of my Sab box to do so.
My question is is it possible to have the 2 boxes up and running side by side with a splitter of some sort.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm guessing you will need 3 inputs?

1 for router
1 for vm box
1 for sab box

I especially recommend the TRATEC / Ecoline / Technetix ones, they work the best. Don't go for cheap ones, it'll likely end up in channel distortion/unstable internet

Any other suggestions for splitters guys.im in Ireland and would love to be able to walk into maplin or somewhere and buy what I need. I'm just afraid I'll buy the wrong one without my hand being held by ye guys lol
