Posting just for the sake of it.

If you watch the forum carefully you will see some members post counts rising faster than a gigolo's underpants when the husband comes home early.
Lots of these posts are totally unnecessary and appear to be just a way of upping the counts just to get status. Then once a poster becomes a veteran etc they appear as a reputable supplier of lines/iptv etc because now newbies can trust vets to be honest and helpful----BEWARE guys, rip-offs now getting more common with the onset of iptv and euro-lines---If you get ripped off then report it---not all people are as honest as they seem. Please do a little homework before parting with your cash.
Reaper.

LOL don't really see anything wrong with welcoming new members but perhaps admin could change the format so that your posts don't go towards your post count, similar to playing the word game.

Totally agree, nothing wrong with saying hello to new members but some people seem to specialise in it.
Personally I think you should only be able to build post counts in the tech sections. (No idea if it would be possible to do that though).

I remember this been highlighted months ago it was pointed out there was one member that managed to get vet status just by posting in the intro section and only a hand full in other sections.

Same here, I had a load from the skin modding, now I really don't want to help. I'm just here to see if there is new problems I might come across myself and how to fix

The welcome section does not count towards posts, this sort of thing is watched by the mods, if we see something, we get HT to change the rules. The 500 posts plus time cannot be done, it can either be time, or posts, just not both.
Reaper, you are right, there are shysters out there, and before parting with your hard earned, you should do as many checks as possible.

Leader, we all lost likes, thanks and shouts in the shoutbox. but we never lost actual posts.

I think to become a TK Veteran, it should be down to time spent on the site, and a post count that has been accumulated over that period, not somebody who rattles in 100 posts i 2 months, and that includes myself, I came on this site for the first time about april, and yes i did help some people on here, but mostly, i am getting more help that i am give [ ok, i don't have a lot of experience ] but within 3 months, i got the TK Veteran added to my status, well, in my opinion, that was far too easy to achieve, so if i can achieve it in 3 months, then technically any noob can get it 3 months by putting up useless post... still a terrific site thou,

Was this not one of the reasons why Kidda C got Banned for complaining?? sure he mentioned somewhere that someone got Vet status after just one month because they get replying to Newbie posts to rack up the post count???

ive been a member on here since 2016 and still learning stuff... but mainly help alot in the h.2h section to newbys  and other members too.
Agree reaper, a minimum of 2 years forum membership with the inclusion of 500 posts before any status being awarded in my opinion.
yep i agree with ianw314, and reaper
