PS5 Ps5 slow network speeds

Umm something is up. Had one good speed test on the laptop using the home plugs

Plugged laptop straight into the router and it's even worse only getting 60mb on the laptop straight to the router

Used the home plugs and get more speed but I ain't getting the 700mb any more. This as now capped out at 180mb and I can't get more on them now.

I'm guessing the home plugs maybe broken

But still doesn't explain why it's even slower direct to router mehhh

All the lan ports are gigabit ports on your router?

Yes when I log into router says 1gig connection and laptop says 1gig connection

Try a different cable , different port in router , if still poor then ring isp

Are all the ports 1Gb connection on your router though mate? You may have 4 x LAN but may only have 1 or 2 that are gig connections. Maybe worth double checking.

Yes says all 1gig ports. I've tried brand new cabling, router reset and all different ports.

It's locked at 145mb for some odd reason

A lot of people on ps forums are saying its summert to do with ethernet cable quality etc 🤔🤔🤔 can you do a manual ethernet connection in the network settings ??
Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection > Set Up Manually (at the very bottom below all of the connection options) > Use a LAN Cable
