recording iptv freeze

Hi.

I'm still having an issue with recording a channel on the iptv/zgemma setup.

Running ipab firmware.

Press the red record button on the remote, and set to record say straight away. I stay on the channel its recording, and about 10 seconds in, the stream freezes. I go up and down on the channel and the channel is fine. But the recording just locks to where it freezes.

I have got a swap file, and 32gb stick. Ive used this before when I used the box with the old satellite / gift card setup.

Any help appreciated
 
Sounds like you may need to purchase a multiroom sub from your iptv provider to be able to record!

Recording iptv uses 2 streams even if your watching the same channel being recorded.

Put it to a freeview channel and record an iptv channel and see if it records O.K! If it does then you'll most likely have to buy multiroom to record iptv!
 
You wont need to install anything on your box.

Your provider would enable the 2nd subscription/multiroom from there end allowing you to record 2 streams.
