Recording issue

I'm having problems recording for some reason my 16g usb is empty with no recordings but when I go to record anything it comes up with a message saying (write error disk full ) I'm using dsayers build not sure what's gone wrong

Have you formatted the USB in the box. Menu/seup/system/storage devices/initialisation will format the usb for box recording

Yes I have done all that it was recording before but now it doesn't record or rewind it just displays a X in the top right hand corner of the screen not sure why

is there a size restriction on the storage you can use?
