Recording on V8 golden

Does anyone know how to set up timer on V8 golden to record.Ive tried a few times not sure what I'm doing wrong.
It records normally on manual.

I think I've seen a work around for this problem on freesat.cn just check if you don't find an answer, use ask question option

Seems to be a hit or miss weather it works or not . thanks for advice

There was a timer recording bug prior to update V499 which I believe was supposed to have been sorted in V499---I think the fault may have reappeared in a later update----if your box is using last firmware then try putting onto channel prior to setting timers. Always worth a try.

Ok I decided to start playing around with the local time settings and the only one I changed was GMT Usage to off.
Set timer for the following morning and it recorded:). thanks again everyone.
