Recording to a USB stick

Hi All , I have a z Star H2 with open ATV 6.1 I have initialised a memory stick , can see test recording but can not get it to play . Are there any instructions I can follow to find what I am doing wrong. Many thanks Clive.

I think you have to initialised to the box as a hd, and not as a usb m8..???

have you tried initialising the usb again, few times iv tried to record and reinitialising it again sorts it.

you have to initialise your usb then /red button /plugins/mount manager and mount it to media/hdd
