You can get mouse pointer apps if having trouble selecting tbrough stuff

If you enable HDMI CEC on a Smart tv, 95% of normal Smart tv remotes control the Firestick

If using showbox, terrarium etc on firestick then you’d need to use the proper remote and as others mentioned install mouse toggle. Actually you can get it free if you google it.
