I’m sure you need to open ports on your router and use ddns to allow access from other locations outside of your home network. That comes with some security issues though!

Can be done using openwebif but be careful so no one can access you router

This was discussed to death and got pretty heated about a year back. Consensus was it was just too dangerous to leave the box / router so vunerable.
You were in effect a sitting duck just waiting for bots to find the open ports.
