renault megane radio code

just bought a renault megane Vreg to use for work and the radio code kicked in as battery was flat can anybody help

Remove the radio from the dash and post the numbers printed on the label attached to the metal casing... in particular the security number as underlined and shown here...

Your code is 7451..

On the Megane.. you enter code using the steering wheel remote controls..

Here's instructions just in case... :)

RENAULTS WITH RADIO STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS

Switch Radio On - Display Shows 'CODE' quickly followed by

" 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing

Rotate " Thumbwheel " For FIRST Correct Digit displayed
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter

Rotate " Thumbwheel " For SECOND Correct Digit displayed
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter

Rotate " Thumbwheel " For THIRD Correct Digit displayed
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter

Rotate Thumbwheel " For FOURTH Correct Digit displayed

If the correct code number is now shown on the display

Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard (typically 3 seconds)

Radio will play.................

Check the numbers on your label, particularly "Security is O699 ".

If correct.. make sure you are entering code correctly, especially the last bit as shown in post 4 "Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard (typically 3 seconds)"
