Phoned VM this morning to report dodgy internet.
22 minutes to get thru - then the robot started to talk.
Thank you for phoning virgin media--press 1 for ***, press 2 for *** etc up to 5
So I pressed and got press 1 for *** up to 3
So I pressed and now enter your vm telephone number [I haven't got one]--sorry I didn't hear that LOL--repeated 3 times--if you have no vm telephone number please type in your a/c number, thank you, now please use the keypad to type in your area code which is the two digit s found on your bill or on yor "my Virgin Media" page [can't access cos internet inop] sorry I did not hear that.
Now a pause and suddenly the boring voice comes back and says --your a/c is at postcode *** *** --we are experiencing problems within that area and all should be fixed by 7.35pm--phone now goes dead.
Why 7.35 and not 7.30 or 8.00?
And why are they using rude robots who hang up on you?
Finally--how am I using the net now at 4.40pm if it's not due to be fixed until 7.35pm? LOL
