Satallite Cable Feed

hi,can anyone advise if it matters what cable from the satellite dish is plugged into the box .
ive just got the two leads from my dish coming into my living room and am unsure if any of them has a different purpose

2 feeds are normally done on fitting dish as sky+hd uses both feeds for twin tuners,if on a single tuner either will do.

can you use both boxes at once then? you just couldn't record then on the sky box?
