Setting up a mono block LNB

Hello all .

I'm slowly getting back into satellite again. a few years a go when I was into it I had.
Humax 5300vaci
technomate TM6900
Dragon cam
Diablo Cam
Gamma cards
and various other cams and programmers etc.

I could setup a mono block LNB no issues, but now I'm having issues and need help.

So far I managed to find ASTRA 1 with the LNB but its on the right LNB not the LEFT side.
Last night I managed to get the receiver to use the left LNB and find astra1
But no hotbird :-( .

Should I find hotbird first?
My dish is a TRIAX 80cm and the mono block LNB is a Grundig it was working fine a few years ago.
but I'm slowly getting back into it and have forgotten the usual tricks etc.
The receiver is a $ky f3 box

Any help would be great

Monblock should be positioned so that 13east is the most central lnb

Ok thanks for the reply so set the dish up as hotbird first then Astra should fall in to place ??

May have to rtfm on my dish as may have it set up at the wrong angle . Like I say it's been a long time since I've setup a dish so it's a new learning curve again
