Should i get Virgin media as sky is going??

Hi guys

I'm new to the cable side as i normally use sky but that is all going as you all know so i was wondering if i should use cable/Virgin media instead.

Does it work in the same way as sky? i.e i get a box and put a code in
Does VM have all the same channels as sky?
Are all the channels working on vm?
Whats the best box to get?
Is this going to last or is it going in the same direction as sky?

There's a lot of questions but its better to just say all i need to know straight away i guess

1: yes it works the same as sly get box put line in.
2:No it has mostly the same channels but not all.
3: yes
4:depends on what you want to spend anything from £60 to £400+
5: Nobody can answer that that's like saying how long in a piece of string but think of it like this lots have been saying sly going off the last 5 years. Just take what you can get .
