single channel problem

hi there - i've a vu-duo using enigma2 & latest version of apollo vix image .
has anyone any ideas about why 1 single channel keeps freezing ?
might work for a few hours but then irts back to on/off on /off constantly.
unfortunately its ss news which is my 'home channel' or i wouldnt even care.
i've updated the xml file etc & there's nothing else i know of to try.
it's only this 1 channel & its doing my head in !!
i assume it wont be ccam related as everything else is fine .
could it possibly be the lnb on my old sky dish - but again would that not affect more channels ?
the snr is 57% and the ecb fluctuates both up & down as the channel sticks & unsticks - but it only goes from 1.0** to 2.1**
is there a way to fine tune a single channel ??

57 is bad mate

min is 55% on channels,

also is this SD or HD your watching off SS? could be your server is hammed on that channel

i would look in to moving ya dish a little

i get 100% signal and 87% on my SS
 
hey there - my signal seems to be 56 -60 odds depending on which channel but they all work 100% apart from ss news.
i've it on sky n.ireland sd ( puts all the hd channels at the back for easy use)
i've been on chatting about the line but he says i'm the only 1 with this glitch .
just cant suss out why its the channel that i watch all the time & no other ?
 
Like satman said 57-60 is really low for channels my minimum is 75 i think you really should look into the dish alignment,

im sure there are apps where you can check the best position for the dish.

i just looked at mine and tested the irish one and get snr 14 and agc 87%
 
thanks guys - i had a feeling it is dish or lnb related - just too weird that its on the 1 channel i'm on most of the time & nothing else ??
no idea how to check the alignment but i can have a look online .

no sorry - my snr is 57% , agc is 95%
 
ah ffs ssnews now been off for half an hour - but every other channel is fine -
any ideas as to why this 1 channel ??
hate gremlins . grr.
 
watch the UK one lol
maybe something at your guys end ask him or test another server, if the same on another server, then know possible the channel or your end
