as stated, on a zgemma h2h no hd and standard def is very glitchy anyone know how to fix using the grog 6.1 image at present thanks

Your server maybe using "shares" for less popular channels
so there is less control over the amount of users as these channels are
shared between servers to keep down the cost.

They may use "locals" for sports, films etc so they are more steady.

I have something similar with the History channel

i have deactivated tuner a and its efinitely a cable line, all other channels are ok but sky arts hd doesnt even appear and standard def is very very glitchy,

Sorry mate I had a re read, and edited my post, originally thought all HD was missing with glitchy SD
then noticed it was just Sky Arts, so see post #2 again :grin:

Example: Server 1 buys legit subscription for limited services, say
standard package plus sports.

He shares the sports pack with server 2 who has BT sports pack.
He shares the sports pack with server 3 who has Films pack.
He shares the sports pack with server 4 who has Porn pack.

So his sports pack gets diluted and his overall package gets bigger at a reduced cost.

But decent ones tend to keep the main ones as "locals" (not shared) and share lesser channels.

Same as a PPV events, they don't all pay for individual subscriptions on the night, some share.

The above example is actually a bit more technical, but you get the idea.

thats a good way of putting it, that probably explains why mtv live hd dont work very well on my line, either it works really well or hardly works at all, ginx esports tv on mine rarely clears or if it does its very glitchy.

So in reality it's a bit more like this for a big server / line provider,
They may may have a number of physical servers (as in hardware) on the go lets just say 5.

Each server 1-5, will have a number of locals dedicated to that particular server, for sport, films, etc.
as the customers are added the load is balanced between the individual servers, or more locals are added to keep the service steady.

So some of the lesser channels are shared between all 5 servers diluting the stability due to the large customer base as it builds up.
